Lost Dog Found 1,000 Miles Away After Two Years: Heartwarming Reunion Story

Florida: A man in the US has found his missing dog in Florida, nearly 1,000 miles from home, two years later.

The dog's owner, Tony Duncan, said his dog, Luna, chased some wild animals into nearby woods from their Mardela Springs home but never returned.

Tony Duncan said that although he had not given up hope of getting his dog back, he was surprised to receive a call from Florida-based LaBelle Animal Control last week.

Animal control tells Tony that they found a stray dog in the parking lot of the LaBelle Walmart store and that a microchip scan identified her as the missing Luna.

As soon as Tony gets the news, he sets off to meet Luna, 1,000 miles away.
