Sark Island is located between France and England. The world's smallest prison is located at this place. The surprising thing is that this prison is still in use.
If seen, this jail looks like a small house. According to reports, there are only two rooms in this house. There are no facilities on this island called Sark. Even on this island there are no facilities like roads, street lights or vehicles. This small jail was established in 1856.
If we talk about the measurement of this jail, the length and width of both the rooms are 6 feet. And these two rooms are separated by a narrow street.
In these two rooms, there are small wooden beds for the prisoners to sleep. And thin mattresses have been placed on these wooden beds. Prisoners are not kept in this jail for more than two days. After two days, the prisoners are transferred to another large prison, which is located on the island of Guernsey.
The name of this prison has also been registered in the Guinness World Records. If we talk about this Sark island, it is 5 km in length and 1.6 km in width. The population of this island is less than 600.
