Scientists at Tufts University claim that research on dementia had concentrated on the dietary patterns of individuals in their 60s and 70s. Whereas the latest research has examined the relationship between food and diet throughout life.

According to the research, the mental capacity of people remains fine till the age of 60 years. And after 65 years it starts to decrease.

However, the latest findings suggest that healthy diets rich in antioxidants and mono- and polyunsaturated fats early in life can improve brain health by reducing stress in cells and improving blood circulation in the brain.
